Our Story

Our Story Ceres Aviary began in 2003, sparked by a simple love for animals. What started with dogs, cats, and fish slowly grew into something more when birds became the heart of our journey. An idle property was transformed over time into a space where passion, patience, and learning could take flight.

Located in Porac, Pampanga, about 90 kilometers north of Manila and just 30 minutes from Clark Freeport Zone, Ceres Aviary enjoys a peaceful setting that allows our birds to thrive in a calm and natural environment.

From the very beginning, our focus has always been on breeding healthy, high-quality birds. We believe that good breeding starts with proper care, respect for each species, and a deep understanding of their needs.

Our journey into aviculture started with Sun Conures, which soon led to a growing collection of conure species available in the Philippines. Over time, this included Jendaya, St. Thomas, Gold-Capped, Crimson-Bellied, Green-Cheek, Red-Masked, Roseifrons, Peach-Fronted, and Blue-Throated Conures.

As our experience grew, so did the diversity of our birds. We expanded into Asiatic parrots such as Indian Ringnecks, Alexandrine, Moustached, and Plum-Headed Parakeets, along with Eclectus Parrots and Philippine native species like the Blue-Naped and Blue-Backed Parrots. This was followed by cockatoos, including Umbrella, Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos, Rose Breasted, and later African parrots such as Senegals, Jardine’s, Meyer’s, and Rüppell’s Parrots.

Eventually, macaws became part of our growing flock, followed by softbilled species such as toucans and aracaris, marking another exciting chapter in our story. As the aviary continued to grow, we took on one of our biggest challenges—artificial incubation. Until then, all chicks had been hand-reared only from parent-hatched eggs. With limited incubator options available locally, this phase required patience, experimentation, and learning. Discovering Inca Incubators proved to be a turning point, allowing us to improve hatch success and chick care.

Through the years, one thing has never changed: quality always comes first. Every bird we raise reflects our commitment to responsible breeding, proper care, and long-term well-being. We also ensure that all birds are provided with the required legal documentation, in full compliance with Philippine laws and regulations.

Today, Ceres Aviary stands as the result of over two decades of dedication—built on passion, experience, and a genuine love for birds.
